Point-styles

Mage Magic Point Styles

The S-POINT is geared to applications into PVC-U or thin metal-profiles (max. 0,8 mm thickness).

The SPOON-POINT is used in the same applications, but offers a superior cutting-ability.

The DRILL-POINT is necessary as soon as applications involve fastening to thicker metal profiles (starting from 0,9 mm).

The NAIL-POINT is designed for use in timber applications where its sharp point allows easy positioning of the screws. During the fastening operation the sharp point pierces the timber-fibers before the thread engages which avoids splitting the timber.

A special execution of the drill-point is the PILOT-POINT which is used when there is a small space between the PVC-U section and the metal profile. Thread tapping in the first section begins only when the drilling operation has been completed, to avoid a "jacking up" action between the two sections.
